Warriors News · Warriors Take Care of Bartlett 40-21

The Warriors came out on fire Friday night at Bartlett scoring on the opening drive of the game.  The Warriors ended the game the same way with another long touchdown run from Cartier Beverly as they defeated Bartlett 40-21.  Cartier Beverly led the offense on the ground with 240 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns.  The defense was all over the field led by linebacker Tyran Perkins and the rest of his crew as they collected 4 interceptions on the night.  Senior linebacker Micah Boyland took one of those interceptions for a touchdown to put the Warriors up 2 scores in the 4th quarter.  The win over Bartlett gets the Warriors back to (2-2) on the year as the team gets ready to travel to Holmes Central this Friday night in Lexington, Ms.  If you can make the trip come support the Warriors this week as they face a tough opponent on the road.  If you can’t make it down this week you can for sure come support the boys on September 27th vs CBHS for the homecoming game.  Go Warriors!!!
